Securing a Break-In

Blue Swoosh Reversed

Security doors, CCTV and business insurance are all things we buy hoping we’ll never need – but sometimes the worst does happen.

Break-ins can happen even at the most secure site, and although you can reduce the risk of criminal entry as much as possible, the most determined thieves or vandals may still be able to find a way in.

This was the case for a recent NGF customer based in Hull – they had suffered a break-in at their site, and were left with a door that was inoperable, leaving them vulnerable.

When this happens, a quick response is essential. It’s stressful for those on site, and leaves the building at further risk from unauthorised access.

Security door emergency repairs

At NGF, we operate a 24-hour door repair service, with a dedicated phone number for emergencies that is staffed at all hours of the day by one of our engineers. We will be on site within 24 hours, no matter where you are, and will make the site safe and secure as quickly and efficiently as possible.

We were asked to supply a timber infill polyester powder coated fire exit door, with heavy duty hardware to better resist any future attempts at gaining entry. With anti-bump, pick and snap locks included as standard, these fire doors are highly secure, and are suitable for use at a wide range of sites, from commercial offices to industrial sites and high-security locations.

Polyester powder coating can be achieved in any RAL colour – take a look at our full list here.

No one wants to have to deal with a break-in, but if you do, make sure you stay calm and deal with it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Sometimes the easiest solution is to just call an expert and let them handle it – which is exactly what we do!
